Rhythm SPX selective soldering system

Taking only minutes to program, the Rhythm SPX handles basic to complex dip, drag, wire bond and other through-hole soldering processes previously performed by hand or wave soldering. The SPX provides a large soldering range within it’s 24” by 24” frame. This process area does not require any rotation or adjustment in order to reach it’s capacity.

The SPX uses precise and reliable servo-driven XYZ axis motion control that articulates the soldering miniwave and flux nozzle beneath the PCB. A thermal performance a soldering miniwave is achieved with the use of a closed loop temperature controlled nitrogen inertion process. RPS offers innovative miniwave nozzle designs for wave stability and defect free performance.
