New Multi Line Assist series with MagicLight technology for ideal image contrast 
With the new 11XX series, GÖPEL electronic presents an advanced version of its Multi Line Assist AOI system. This solution for THT assembly stations offers assembly assistance and optical inspection, now featuring innovative MagicLight technology, which ensures high-contrast inspection images, reliable defect detection, and consistently comfortable working conditions.
The Multi Line Assist can be used both at manual THT assembly stations and in automated production lines. The system projects assembly instructions directly into the operator’s field of vision, significantly reducing assembly times. The integrated AOI module checks the component placement after each step or at the end of the assembly process and reliably detects errors such as incorrect polarity, missing components, or color and labeling deviations. All results are documented, can be statistically evaluated, and forwarded to MES systems.
At the heart of the 11XX series is the new MagicLight technology, which combines top and side lighting with coded light, making even hard-to-see features such as polarity marks or embossed lettering clearly visible. Distracting reflections are eliminated, and the illumination can be switched without flickering. The influence of ambient light is reduced by up to fifty percent, while the image brightness can be flexibly adjusted without changing the workplace lighting – a significant advantage for operators.
The Multi Line Assist 11XX series is available in three versions:
As a complete solution with a height-adjustable assembly table,
As a tabletop system for retrofitting existing workstations,
And as an integration module.
All essential components are integrated in the base module, which simplifies installation and reduces space requirements. The software is based on the proven PILOT AOI platform, enabling rapid test program creation based on CAD data.
